About the event
Join local sound therapist & decolonial student, James Lamar, for a 90-minute evening of reflection, sound, and re-connection to Earth. The gathering will open with a 15-minute dharma talk on the practice of stewardship—returning to right relationship with the land through repair, reciprocity and care. Using the example of crystal singing bowls, which are born from the Earth, we will explore what it means to honor and tend to the land beneath our feet.
From there, participants will be guided into a restorative sound experience, creating space to reflect on their own relationship to the places they inhabit and the ways we can live more harmoniously with the natural world, our Mother.
This event is both a call back to the Earth and an offering to the land. In support of nature conservation, 50% of proceeds will be donated to the Lewisburg-based non-profit Merrill W. Linn Land & Waterways Conservancy,…
