Free Community Yoga

Before there was Happy & Healthy, two other studios called this space home. We are deeply grateful for the teachers, students, and communities who came before us, and we hold that lineage with so much love and care.

On September 21, 2016, Alesia took her very first class in this space, then home to Yoga Dear. She had practiced yoga elsewhere, but something about this class “felt like a homecoming.”

She had gone that day, the last day of summer, simply to cross an item off her summer bucket list. But she left with a promise to herself: if she could practice consistently for six months, she would consider becoming a teacher.

Ten years later, she is celebrating her “yogaversary” by teaching a free community class.

For every person who attends, Alesia will donate $15 to Transitions, an organization supporting women as they navigate life after domestic violence, sexual assault…
